PROMPT PACK — Chapter 5

PROMPT 1: Revision Request Use this when the first response wasn’t right.

“Your last response was [too formal / too long / too generic / missing key information]. Here’s what I need you to change: [specific changes]. Please revise.”

PROMPT 2: Alternative Versions Use this when you want options to choose from.

“Give me three different versions of this [email/post/description]. Make each version distinct: Version 1 more formal, Version 2 more casual, Version 3 more urgent. I’ll pick the one that fits best.”

PROMPT 3: Voice Matching Use this to teach the AI your style.

“Here’s an example of how I write to customers: [paste your example]. Analyze the tone, style, and word choice. Then write a [new email/post/response] for this situation: [describe situation]. Match the voice of my example.”

PROMPT 4: Voice Guide Setup Use this at the start of sessions for important writing.

“For this conversation, use the following brand voice guidelines for all content you create: [paste your voice guide]. Confirm you understand before we proceed.”

PROMPT 5: Multi-Step Task Breakdown Use this to tackle complex projects.

“I want to create [describe complex task: e.g., a customer onboarding sequence, a full job posting package, a complete proposal template]. Let’s break this into steps. First, outline the components we need to create and what each should accomplish. Then we’ll work through them one at a time.”

PROMPT 6: Save as Template Use this to turn a good prompt into a reusable template.

“We just created [describe what you created]. Turn the prompt I used into a reusable template with blanks I can fill in for different situations. Format it clearly with [BRACKETS] for the parts I’ll customize each time.”

PROMPT 7: Comparison Request Use this when you’re not sure which direction to take.

“Write this [email/post/message] two different ways. Version A: emphasize [quality/speed/price/trust]. Version B: emphasize [different aspect]. Keep both the same length so I can compare the approaches.”
